Elementary surface has an axis returned by Position().
Parameter() can return a UV point for a given 3D point.

Returns UV-point in surface parametric space for a 3D point.
If the 3D point lies exactly on a seam (e.g. for cylindrical or conical surface) then returned U parameter is 0. Likewise for the toroidal surface, V parameter is 0 if the point lies on a V=0 or V=2 * PI seam.
